Shuang Long Shan, managed and owned by Ying Fo Fui Kun (YYFK), is a Dignified and Solemn Resting Place equipped to meet the members’; and general publics’, needs in arranging for a peaceful final place of rest for their beloved deceased family members.

 

ELIGIBILITY
YFFK provide a final resting place for the cremated remains of deceased members and members’ next-of-kin; and to the General public subject to availability.

 

APPLICATIONS
May be received from the YFFK’s members or/and family members. Known as applicant.

 

LEASE OF USAGE OF NICHE
Applicants complete an Application for Usage of Niche with an undertaking to abide by the Rules and Regulations governing the lease and usage of niche. Payment in full must be made, according to the price list issued at the time of application.

YFFK and the management reserves their rights to change the rules from time to time, without prior notice. Price may be varied from time to time as the management deems fit, and be revised without prior notice.

 

DURATION OF USE
The duration of use of the niche shall be the remaining duration of the Shuang Long Shan’s land Iease from the Singapore Government (which is for the period of 99 years from 1969). Prior to the expiring of the Iease-term, the YFFK will take the necessary steps to notify the family members of the impending removal of the niches or any other options that become available at the time of notice. These steps shall be in compliance with the public regulations and practices in force at the time.

Should the government offer extension of Iease or any other options become available, and the YFFK decide to accept the offer of extension, the cost of premium paid shall be equally borne by the applicants as the management deems fit.

 

CONDITIONS OF USE
Use of a niche and the Certificate of Reservation is non-transferrable, saleable or assignable. Should the applicant desire to change the designation of the person for whom the niche is reserved, he must submit an application to renominate a user to be the new Approved Person.

In the event of removal of urn by the family, the right of use to the said niche is terminated; and the YFFK reserves the right to reallocation.

 

CEREMONY RITES AND SERVICES
The lease and use of niche is subjected to the applicant and family’s agreement to comply with the religious ceremony and practices of YFFK. These practices involve prayer sessions conducted in conjunction with events such as inurnment and memorial visits.

No burning of incense and/ or offerings of food in public or anywhere in the Columbarium and MemoriaI HaIIs is alIowed. No other religious ceremony or rites is permitted.

 

TERMINATION
YFFK reserves the right to terminate the rights of usage if the applicant and/or family violates the Rules and Regulations, including the ruIes governing religious ceremony and rites. There shaII be no refund in the case of termination, and the rights of use shaII return to YFFK.
